The Gate Hotel is a small hotel in the Mashraba neighbourhood of Dahab, a short walk from the seafront. It is the home of our freediving center in Dahab, so if you're here to train or do a course, you can roll out of bed, have breakfast, and be in the water within the hour.
The facilities are clean, well-maintained and straightforward. Breakfast is included in all room rates, along with towels, free tea and coffee, and water throughout your stay.

25 metres, two lanes, maintained daily, and used every day by our students and course participants. It is where theory becomes practice before you ever reach the sea.

Getting here
From the airport to the door.
Almost everyone flies into Sharm el-Sheikh. From there it is about an hour by road to Dahab, and we can arrange the transfer for you.
It does not matter what time you land. Night flights are fine: we drive out whenever your plane gets in, and there is always a night guard at the hotel to open the door and show you to your room.
Send us your flight details and a driver will be waiting for you. It saves the arrival-hall negotiation at the end of a long travel day.
Location
Central Mashraba.
Walking distance from the seafront restaurants and shops. A few minutes from the Lighthouse dive site, and about 20 minutes by car to the Blue Hole.
